I GRADUATED

I graduated from the University of Florida a few weeks ago, specifically on December 20th, 2008 at 10:42 am. I will be sending out announcements as well as grad party invites soon! This is the best picture I have and will get some from the sister.

I left my heart in San Francisco

I will deeply miss this city and all of the people I met there. I undoubtedly had the time of my life and could never forget it. I just wanted to say thank you to all the people that helped me experience San Francisco like a true San Franciscan. And for CHEER SF, I will be your cheerleader from this end of the country and wish you nothing but the best for SF PRIDE week and hope to come back out to visit you guys soon!

Happy 2009!

Happy New Year!

2008 has come to a close and it has been a year of change. I graduated a few weeks ago, went to San Francisco, left Gainesville, and am no longer living with my best friends. I can only hope that perhaps this year will be a little more mellow.

I celebrated the new year in St. Pete with David and some friends, and we had a great time, sans an accident involving glass and flesh.

My only New Year's resolution at the moment is to get a job, finish some of the dresses I have started, and then maybe I'll think about shaping up.

X-mas, 20 days early

Since David and I would be able to spend Christmas together, we spent a weekend in Sarasota to celebrate together. Santa said this was okay and came to visit a few days early. This is a picture of our tree on Xmas morning (we even had a bird in our tree, which is a symbol of good luck). I didn't get a pony, but I did get an autographed copy of a PostSecret book, a couple awesome rings, and killer Owl necklaces. David's goal is to turn me into a 'Crazy Old Owl Lady,' aka a 'COOL' woman. Santa brought him an autographed Ray LaMontagne poster, a learn-to-type program and a sweet photo book. We had a great Christmas together as well as with our families on the actual day.

Failing the blog

I finally made it to the bottom of Jocelyn's list of bloggers, meaning that I haven't posted anything for 2 months and all of the other bloggers had. This is me, moving to the top of her list.

p.s. I am home and will be home for a while, currently looking for employment.

p.p.s. Fun Times.
